2021's Goal: Grow and Glow

 

       Light sticks must break in order to glow, while most of the stars are aligned in the darkness for us to see its glow. Last year is the most unfortunate year in my whole lifetime, frankly an absolute nightmare I never imagine to made it through. Last year, I weathered worse crises that countlessly triggered my existential crisis. I had profound emotions of disgruntlement about where I was in life. I felt like an unproductive hamster running on a monochromatic wheel every day without any relevant aim. 

        The year two thousand twenty-one has come, and I witnessed how the fireworks glow along the luminaries in the darkness of eve. Like fireworks, humans have to let their old figure explode, in order to uncover their exceptional worth. In that moment of life, I started to be enthused about the idea of self-love. 

        I want to glow physically and mentally. Be pleased with my physical appearance and have zero percentage of insecurities. Be dauntless and have a healthy perspective of existence. I want my value and beauty be apparent in the reflection of my eyes and to everyone else. I accept it that my life is made up of thunderclap of both mystification and warm fuzzies. And, I am looking forward to see myself displaying no fear in the labyrinthine of life.

        As entities voyage throughout this year, I will keep reminding myself and to everyone, “You are not living backwards.” Instead of looking backward and regretting what’s happened, look ahead to the direction you want your life to take.
